Terror attack on US soil with 12 casualties!

....although this was an act of "terror", in the strictest sense of the word, it was not the result of a "holy Jihad" in which the perpetrator was acting on a religious "belief" that all individuals NOT Muslim are "infidels" and thus need to be eliminated, true or false?

Without knowing the particulars yet, as to motive, and looking at the guy, voices in the head would come as no surprise after all, could we nonetheless speak in terms of a religiously inspired low level "jihad" against supporters of pro choice? If both jihadists from IS and pro life individuals attacking abortion clinics are both "inspired by their faith" and believe, in both cases, that they reflect the will of God, then that's what I mean by the underlying dynamic behind the actions are similar. Human beings angry enough to believe God requires them to go after the "non believers". The infidels do not adhere to the will of Allah. The pro choice movement does not adhere to the will of God.

Why am I not surprised you're going to defend a white guy?

Strange, the perpetrator looks so stable...

I knew Nick Nolte had gone off the deep end but man, I never would've predicted this.

What is your point?

...my point is THIS was not a "true" act of "terrorism"....just a nut case with an axe to grind with no religious connection!
Since when is religion required for terrorism? Can't really get much "truer" to terrorism than walking in and killing unarmed people because you disagree with them. Just because he's not a Muslim extremist does not mean he isn't a terrorist.

Most, not all, but MOST terrorist attacks are religious in motive, true or false?
