Hey guys here's an idea, let's trade for a PG that makes our three-point shooting even worse. Better yet, let's trade for a verified head case.

Well 3pt shooting is kind of an important thing.

Schroeder only shoots 2% better on 2pt attempts.

Burke actually gets to the FT line more per 36 minutes (half an attempt more).

Schroeder plays on a much better team (in terms of offensive output) that moves the ball better and has more of a team concept than Utah currently does, so assist opportunities are probably more frequent (Atlanta has 2nd most assist per game as a team).

Schroeder actually has a worse defensive plus/minus (not that I put a lot of stock into this, but I havent watched Schroeder closely enough this year to properly comment on his defensive work this year). That could probably be contributed to Burke playing on a better defensive team (much like Schroeder having some slightly better offensive numbers because he plays on a better offensive team).

Not saying I think Burke > Schroeder this year, and I certainly think Schroeder has more potential over the long run, but it's an argument and certainly not "laughable".

Other slight stats Burke has on Schroeder: Steals and Rebounds (on per 36 basis).

If Dennis doesn't have legit NBA 3 point range it puts a big cap on the rest of his game. Defenses can really "load up" in the paint. His +/- speaks volumes to this, and why he has been getting so few minutes lately. The draft comps (so far) are pretty accurate in him being a poor man's Rondo.

BUT GUISE

I'll take the under of .5 on how many people care about how many minutes NAOS watches the Hawks.

Has there been enoughs lols in this thread? I don't think so.

LOL.
