It is time consider trade Hayward

Cousins may be a better individual talent than favors but he doesn't help win games as much as Favors does. This is a perfect example of what I was saying earlier about not wanting s top ten player that dictates the way you have to play.

He doesn't? I don't know about that. I think he's one hell of a player. He's becoming a better passer, and I think in the right situation, he can be quite the force. Despite being a headcase, I think Cousins has the demeanor of a child. And what do children value most? Stability. He can get that in Utah.

I'm not saying I'm dying to see that trade happen. But if we're swinging for the fences, it is a good trade to consider. We get superior talent, with some baggage. The alternative is just sticking with what we have, while trying to add marginal talent to plug the holes. But nobody is giving us superior players for nothing because they're just that nice.

Hayward is a very good player, and I don't think we can find a plausible trade that gives us anywhere near as much value back. Maybe Favors + picks for Cousins would work, since he's always in trade rumors.

Pretty much the only plausible thing I can think of in terms of super-star top 10 talent that is disgruntled.

His shot selection though. He is shooting 42% this year from the field. That is lulz worth with his size, length, and skill (with Rondo at point) to be shooting that poorly. If someone could teach Cousins to pull his game in a little bit, he could be the best big man in the league.

I know this will hurt a lot of feelings here, but I honestly don't think Hayward is as highly regarded by GM's around the league as Jazz fans believe he is. There's a reason why the majority of Jazz trade rumors floating around always seem to involve Derrick Favors'...a lot of teams want him. But we rarely ever hear trade rumors involving Hayward. Where there's smoke, there's fire...

I don't think Hayward would net us anything that could change our franchise's fortune anyway. Probably a bench/role player + a 1st round pick in the mid/high teens is probably the best we could get for Hayward. The days of the idiotic/sucker New York Knicks GM's are over, we're not going to pull a fast one on anyone. I say we just keep him and hope we can get our true alpha dog some other way (via draft or Exum becomes that guy).

This thread, for the most part as I didn't read every response, seriously underrates Hayward. In fact, I think some of these guys who want to trade him have little skill at evaluating basketball talent.

I'd rather not be pervert. Thank you!

Wait, so because there are no fake Twitter trade rumors means GMs don't want him? Doc Rivers practically drools over Hayward when the Jazz play the Clippers.

We would get so much better than a mid teen 1st rounder and a role player.... Soooo much better.
