Alec Burks fractured ankle out mininum 6 weeks. Time to jump off a cliff

This sucks! I feel bad for Alec. I hope his recovery is as fast as possible and fully healed.

Anyone using the word tank, I want to smash your face with a hammer.

I don't think Alec being out really moves the needle that far either direction (he actually scores more and shoots more in losses than he does wins). Get Rudy back is the most important thing. More shots for Hayward will be better.

would you rather see Hayward shoot 40 to 45 times a game, or 45 to 50?

Exactly. I liked Kanter fine. Then he demands a trade. I liked him a lot less. Then he trash talks Utah, the Jazz and his teammates. I liked him a lot lot less. Then he said he wasn't giving it 100% while he was here. I pretty much started hating the guy.

It is a normal fan reaction. He has been selfish with the public trade demand, if he hadn't done it probaly he would have still played for the Jazz this season.

But I think Kanter has been a good locker room guy during his years with the Jazz.

Why shouldn't we tank? I mean... It's been working out so well for teams like Sacramento and Philly. Where is Philly in the standings again?

Jazz are not going to tank. Won't happen.

Jazz will still make the playoffs. Probably 8th seed now.

DL might make a trade for a wing.

I don't care how many shots gets Hayward. The important is that he carries the team's offense on his shoulders in the 4th quarter. He often failed to do it with Burks on the court or not.

Sometimes it seems like Hood has more confidence in his offense down the stretch rather than Hayward.

Exum being out has been good for Burke and Neto. Gobert and Favors being out has been good for Lyles and Withey. Will Burks being out be good for Hood and Hayward? How much of a silver lining is there to these injuries?

I see no silver lining in the injuries to Exum or Gobert. Those guys are more talented and needed to develop more than Burke and Withey. Burks being injured could be good for Hood but it in no way helps Hayward develop.
