I know y'all are down and out, and sad about the the Jazz. So I bringing you a New Year's Eve trade idea to make you feel better.

The man we should go after is Spencer Dinwiddie. He's a good young player (22), who is big for a point guard. He is just a victim of a deep bench and can't get on the court. He'd definitely be worth a look.

Trey stankin Lyles

For

Spencer Dinwiddie

I doubt the Pistons would bite on Lyles though. Use one of those extra first rounders, or a few 2nd rounders.

Also, go get KJ McDaniels. That's should patch us up for a bit.

I got a few more tricks up my sleeve. I'll reveal them later. Stay tuned and keep your head up.

Yes, he isn't that good.

What the hell?? U trolling us? I'd like to here what your definition of good player is?

Hilarious.

A good player is the opposite of Trey Lyles.

Let me fill you in on a little basketball secret. Where you were drafted often times has little to do with how good you really are. Coaches and GM's make bad basketball decisions all the time. You can find gems buried on benches. Just because you aren't getting run doesn't mean you can't play.

What I don't understand is that you've been following basketball for a while, and you still haven't caught on to this.

Trey Lyles is a 19 year old rookie who needs time to figure out how to play in the NBA. He has floor skills and is showing potential as a stretch and playmaking 4.

Also u overlook Exum. Who showed growth in his one summer league game. Yes its summer league and was only one game, but in that one game he did things none of us thought we'd see. We saw an aggressive and confident Exum. He's getting better on offense and could be an elite level defender while playing both guard positions.

Maybe u should listen to your own advice before saying stupid random stuff. U really should check with me before u waste your time. I see both Exum and Lyles, who's potential is much higher then Spencer Dinwiddie.

I love reading all these doom and gloom posts and threads, because in 5 years I'll be able to show how stupid and panicked some sounded with some of these posts. We've hit a patch of injuries along with having young players that still need an opportunity to develop before we call them bad players or busts.

The future is so bright for this team. Exum, Gobert, Burks, favors aren't going to be injured for their careers. I know it's a downer to see all these injuries, but at the same time. I'm having a blast seeing Whithy, who I've always liked and thought could be a good player finally get consistent mins in his third year. I see both Neto and Lyles making strides in their rookie seasons. Both look like guys that will be solid bench players off the bench. I love seeing Ingles be a good floor spacer with savvy and smarts who can occasionally be the difference in a ball game.

Do u actually think this is how Lyles will look for his entire career?

Also this team is rebuilding the right way in not skipping steps. Rebuilding teams are bound to have young players that don't perform the way fans want. A big part of rebuilding is actually having patience and developing young players. There are flaws in this team with or without the injuries. But that's a given with any young rebuilding team. Fans always think they need to find trades and quick fixes. The only quick fixes are getting lucky drafting generational talents. Otherwise rebuilding is as long drawn out process that can sometimes take up to 5-6 years and sometimes longer. Fans may not see it, but there is a lot of good talent up and down our bench and starting lineups.

Lyles is literally playing like the worst rookie in the league. We could have drawn a name out of hat and come up with someone better.

Yes, of course young players take time to develop, but he is light-years behind all the other rookies. That's a really bad sign for things to come. His game is absolute garbage right now. He shows no signs of being a good player. His ceiling is Jared Dudley at best.

Talk about having really thick Homer glasses on. If he was on another team and I suggested trading for him? That would go over even worse than this. You've gotta step back from the kool-aid and see this for what it is. It was a really bad pick.

Don't question hack. He is always right.
We also should trade for Anthony Bennett and Nick stauskas.

Haha.

All good points fish. Repped!!

I don't know who's more level headed, you or Stoked. Man, you guys really bring the level headedness. So calm, and so rational. Impressive.

Now time for a reality check. Alec Burks didn't work out. Can we move on from him now?
