He's was playing like a superstar last year. He's not having as good of a year. He was legitimately one of the best defenders last year.
I believe in Gobert. He'll find some rhythm again.
Part of the problem is that the team still isn't trying to get Gobert involved in the offense. Which is a mistake I think. Maybe it's because we don't have good enough point guard play.
People forget how amazing Gobert looked after Kanter's trade. Simply amazing. JFC was going crazy with comparisons to all time greats. He had halves where he went something like 12/15/4. His energy was through the roof. He went after every play. To me, he doesn't even compare this year. He's still a good defender and all, but last year, most on here felt it was a travesty that he hadn't won defensive player of the year. How quickly people forget.
