What's new

For Jazz ,4 team race (Portland,Houston,Dallas,Utah) 3 make it

Thinking how we match-up with GSW or Spurs is just absurd. They are both going to sweep us badly. Only chance we have of getting a win in playoffs is getting to 6th seed.

No, it isn't.

But The reason I want the 5th seed is that I want the Clips and then beat them in the first round.

We get that Washington game that had to be rescheduled on February the 18th... After 8 days of rest.
And it's only part of a back to back (the 2nd game is Celtics at home)

We would have had to play the wizards without favors and shortly after Rudy was back.

Worked out quite nicely

Or, coming out in game one and focusing the entire game plan to beat the crap out of Curry. When he's off his game, the rest of the team struggles. Don't know if it would be enough to steal a series, but it sure wouldn't hurt their chances.

Jingles can rough Curry up some and Id let Booker tangle with Green to try to get him riled up.

I think it was 2010, the Thunder were a young, up and coming team. They took two games from the first seeded Lakers, and since that moment, the general public wouldn't stop suckin' the Thunder's dicks.

Utah won't win against the Warriors or Spurs, but if they can put up a good enough fight, or maybe even steal a game, they'd get attention from the general public, and that's always good news.

Christ almighty.

This can't be real...

Why not? I'm not talking about intentionally injuring them. Just upping the physicality to get them off their game. Warriors are way above the Jazz talent wise. When it gets to the playoffs, you do what you have to do (within the rules) to win. Period.

Using the two examples that I did have solid reasoning. Jingles is the best trash talker on the team, and both Booker and Green can be hotheads.

We can beat the Clips but we have no chance of winning against GSW or Spurs unless Curry or Leonard goes down.

I am pretty sure Curry got thrash talked a lot last year, It is not going to stop him.

True, but Jingles is pretty damn good at getting under people's skin. Watched him at it against the Kings last year and it was a thing of effing beauty.

Probably won't help the Jazz in the end, but it sure can't hurt. The way to beat the Warriors is to slow down the pace and pound them. Gotta use the size advantage to their favor and dictate how they play the games.

Cavs tried to do it in the finals, but couldn't sustain it. They pioneered the gameplan, but now someone needs to perfect it if they're going to have a shot at beating them.

The Spurs have completely dismantled Utah twice now. I feel like they just have our number.

I think at full strength(minus exum)we can put up a good fight against the spurs. We still lose but they are good/decent games. I think it would be 100% ugly against the dubs or OKC in the playoffs. I really really don't want to play either of them. Westbrook or Curry vs Neto or Burke? oh ****! No thank you. No disrespect to Parker
