Exum

Maybe this would work for Exum?

We could just bring back Diante Garrett and give him Exum's number. Unless you're actually watching the games, trust me you won't notice any difference.

I was actually trying to be funny by suggesting that the Cavs half of your Cavs v.s. Jazz finals suggestion was the risky pick. I guess my joke was a bit too subtle.
I actually read ya loud and clear and I countered with my own silly joke... My miss-spelling

Sorry but BYU fans are being tarded about this.

Larry spent $80,000 of his own money and stared right into a firestorm of criticism just to avoid playing a team that he is likely to blow out next season. That's how upset he was about Nick Emery's behavior and supposedly disgusting comment to Taylor.

Y'all can disagree with his decision but he isn't running away from anything. He did what he thought was right for his players at a legitimate cost to himself.

What are you talking about. This is about protecting Exum and making sure he is 100% ready to return.

I think you posted in the wrong thread again.

Isn't he running away from danger? Can't risk any injury. This is why Exum must sit out the rest of the season. Or seasons, for that matter. Maybe they can get Snyder to pay his salary out of his own pocket. Safety first!

Seems like an unnecessary risk, let him get 100% healthy and let him get back into game shape in the off season. He is still working and getting better off the court.

Yeah. Don't want a situation like Memo where he rushes back for playoffs and tears his Achilles. And then is never the same.

Paul George came back and played a few games at the end of that year. Any thought that may have been a good thing and helped him to kick on this year ?

We're not winning a championship this year, regardless if Exum plays or not. I'd love to see him return this year but unless we somehow advance to the WCF, it's not worth rushing him back. I'd rather assure that he's 100% (or as close to it as possible) next year & take our chances then. Although I'm still a firm believer in buying low on a replacement level starting PG, I see no reason to overpay. If the opportunity to acquire an upgrade at PG presents itself without requiring an overpay, you do it. This team could be the 5th best team in the WC with an above average PG, if not better.

You're an idiot. Chances are Exum won't be fully healed until next season, end of story.

If Exum is fully rehab and has had 5 on 5 practice time with the team and is basically ready to play, you play him. No point in waiting 5 months more, even if it's only a few games or some minutes in the play offs, it's just so valuable as way to learn and improve.

But you go through the process with no specific time pressure and if he isn't ready, you don't play him. Simple as that.

Seems risky to me. I know PG came back and played that season, and as horrific as the injury looked... At the end of the day it was a fracture not an acl tear. Acl tear is another beast entirely. Not sure it's wise for Exum to risk it with his entire career ahead of him. 7 months is way to early for a player to come back from that serious of an injury.

All of u that want him to come back this year, what if he comes back and re-teared his acl?? All of u would come on here calling for DL's firing for letting him play so early.
