Netos percentage isn't bad but he's just not a guy you need to stay close to because his shot takes a long time to load up. He's not a great driver so he doesn't create either.

Hood and Hayward are good enough creators but they are not consistent enough yet. When they don't have it going it is ugly. When we play a good team in the playoffs they will expose how much Netos lack of offense can hurt us.

I'm fine with standing pat unless Teague or hill are available for a good value price. If someone steals him for a pick or something smaller I'll be pissed we weren't in on the deal.

What is the defense ranked this year (without exum) when favors and Gobert are healthy?
I have no idea but I bet it's top 5 or so (wouldn't be surprised if it was even #1 or #2), which I consider to be elite.

I watch our offense struggle in almost every game. Seems like we have sub 20 point quarters every single game. I maintain that our defense will be good as long as we have favors and Gobert. Our offense needs to get allot better though.

Btw I'm not against getting a good defensive pg and not saying that pg defense doesn't matter at all... I just think a pg who is a threat offensively helps our team more than a pg who plays good defense.


I also really wish Snyder would try more zone defense, specifically a 3-2 zone.
Put three guys out by the three point line defensively and don't give up threes and force everyone into the paint where favors and Gobert await

We can cover them defensively at every single position. I think this team, with the growth this year, and with Exum would be the #1 defense and we;d all know it cause everybody would be talking about it. That kind of elite defense.

I know we suffer on the offense, but I'm a strong supporter of it's better to be the best at one thing and mediocre at the other thing than to be above average at both. If we can show other teams a defense unlike anything else they face in the league we can take them out of rhythm and make them play our game.

Gobert and Exum aren't going anywhere.

You can only pay so many players, that's how a SG forces a PF/C out.

They would both probably go somewhere before Favors though. Unless of the Jazz got a tremendous offer for Favors, which I doubt they'd get from any other player on this roster.

I am so excited about this teams defense when Exum comes back. They are going to be easily the best defense in the league.

The encouraging thing about that is that our offense has been so much improved this year that I have hope for a top 10 offense as well. I think if Exum can contribute on offense, Hayward, Hood and Favors will look like all stars. No need for Exum to score big, but he might get there one day anyway.

Like your thinking but Gibson the bulls will probally want to more for. A great glue guy. Don't know if he would improve the Jazz to the next step however. Teague though is who you should be going after no doubt. I know it be a longshot but why not call up OKC and see if you could swing Russ somehow. Like i said it be a longshot but i would try. Jazz dif got some pieces that a team likje OKC would love to have. I don't think Russ is going anywhere and i think KD and him enjoy playing together butyou always hear rumors. I would try but i know its a long shot

Lot of talk, but in the end Howard and Horford are unrestricted. Whiteside is too. That shouldn't bring a lot in return, but those teams want a fortune. I think some deals will get done, but major players won't get dealt.

OKC has always been on the cusp of getting it done and a lot of talk goes on how KD and Russ in crunch tiem can not get it done. A lot of it is Russ takes away from KD. You have to try and he is a west coast kid so he would be closer to home. You have to gauge the interest of Russ and OKC to least try. This is a business it is not college hoops where you recruit a player and he stays with the team the whole time. Got to make moves and make the RIGHHT MOVE..
