What would you give up to rent Conley?

If he signed a 5 year $18/per deal would you trade Exum for Conley?

:^O

6'6" PG's with shut down D don't come around very often. Exum has all the potential to be great. No way do you trade that for an above average Conley. I really think people on this board underestimate Dante's value. If he'd been healthy this year you're looking at a player averaging 12 and 5 with extraordinary defense and blossoming play making ability.

12 and 5, huh? So doubling his assists and increasing his scoring 250%? That's a wildly optimistic guess. I'd be interested in seeing who the other 2nd year PG's are that made such huge leaps. And only those who also averaged >20 mins/per as a rookie, Obviously there might be some that played sparingly as a rookie and then got 20+ their 2nd season.

Ok. I'll admit it could happen. That was nearly the leap Jarrett Jack made, His minutes also increased from 20 to nearly 34, so not as impressive when adjusted on a per minute basis.

It took this guy 3 seasons. And he wasn't 19-20 either. . .

Not quite. Stockton averaged 5 assists his rookie season in 18 minutes. He was a play maker from Day 1! He also shot 47% when he DID shoot. Exum shot 35%. Also, Stockton was not a wuss and not afraid of contact. I saw Stockton play as a rookie and Exum is NO Stockton.

We're getting off point here. There will never be another, Stockton.
