Ok Guys. We cant get so mad at loser GM DL even though he makes it this bad. And we cant get mad at quinn becuase he can be mostly good and sometimes even great! We cant get mad becasue Rudy has some bad games and all of suddens we need trade him. I dont like bake cakes aat ever! But I can say this. If DL is real man GM he will spend money to fill out the roster with REAL NBA player next offseason!. No more chris johnson, milsaps, whithy, ingles. We need to sign player like Portland made. Aminu and Davis are so good for bench! DL needs right the ship. Its true. I think he will prove us he can. Thanks readmy thought today and remeber lets stick it together!
 
You know, I was about to burn all my Jazz gear and arrange a protest in front of the arena, but this post really helped me frame things in the proper perspective. Thanks OP!

The difference between best bench and worst bench in the NBA is not that great and these differences decide the outcomes of very few games. Highest focus for the Jazz should be developing or upgrading top 4 players. Second focus on developing or upgrading next 4 players. Odds are, players 9+ are not going to matter much.

How much did Scott Burrell, Jason Caffey, Jud Buechler, Bill Wennington matter to the 1997 Bulls? If you had plugged in the bench from another random team, would that have materially affected their title chances?

Ohh I'm sorry I don't think you were born before but Michael Jordan and Scottie pippen were two of best players of all time and Michael Jordan was this really amazing player maybe best ever made. It never matters who is their bench. Need niche players with on district skill set which usually can be shoot or pass.

It's funny cuz during the win-streak (while you were banned) everyone was rejoicing about the cake-bakers being right. Look at us now.


I will say that nearly every target mentioned by posters here last offseason has been underwhelming-- and there weren't really any PG prospects for us (which remains our biggest issue IMO).

I'm sure I'll hear more than 82 games worth of this. Whatever.

Being anti-cakk bakking doesn't mean you had to prove it by naming a player to sign. You can toss out a name, wiff on that name, and still be right about cakk bakking. And don't give me more about PGs. Q would have rolled with multiple wings every night, no problem. But we don't have good wing depth. And combos like Aminu-Davis, which were picked up on the cheap, are making our Booker-Lyles combo look like a damn silly version of a cakk.

Lindsey has one more offseason, as far as I'm concerned.
