I think the writing is more-or-less on the wall at this point, and I think we can start making statements that will summarize the entire season, even though it's just barely March.
I'll get the ball rolling:
*extraordinarily cautious and frugal year from the jazz FO
*injuries
*the jazz lack depth at wing and guard
*uncertain fit amongst core pieces
*lots seems to be riding on Exum
*somehow Portland is already better than us with their zero-year rebuild AND it's not easy to bet that we'll stay ahead of Minnesota.
*Hood and Hayward seemed to figure out some vital things. If our offense has any hope, let's hope we acquire the right pieces to put around them.
*Aside from injuries, Favors and Gobert spent a significant portion of the year not looking quite right. There are enough question marks around their fit; when they're gutting it out at approximately 80% health, it's not pretty.
