Or maybe they've got people reading Jazzfanz noticing some criticism of the Millers' far-removed activity in the Jazz.

Don't know who this reporter is, but like all, probably owes his/her job to the Millers and wouldn't dare criticize or call out the miserly spending of the the Millers/board in recent years. Sorry, but saying the Jazz have great owners NOW, because the Knicks and KIngs are dumpster fires is NOT justification for being 28th in payroll. Maybe a more useful exercise would be to look at owners who are PASSIONATE about basketball and see what makes their teams successful.

Once Gobert Exum Hood and Lyles Coke off their rookie deals they will climb higher then 28. No sense in spending a ton of money in free agency till the Jazz decide who they will resign and let walk. I have zero problem with how the team is being run. I'm still enjoying the season as I did the first day of the season. Fans need to calm the hell out other then fish with his bet.

Stifle. Un need to calm the hell out and stop acting like a Nancy. When this team learns to mor consistently run Coach Q's offense for an entire game and not become rattled by stiffer, and more aggressive defense they will be great.

Things are gonna get expensive once our rookies start to coke off.

The 28th in payroll horsebeating is old. Let's see where we are in 2-3 years. I'd guess we'll be in the top half of the league in spending.

I can only speak for this fan. I think we are exactly where we need to be in terms of acquisitions, players, payroll, coaching staff, etc. I'm content and think we are light years ahead of other franchises who are in the same ranking position.

Me too. The injuries this year have sucked and kind of ruined the season for me but the future is still very bright and we are in a good position

I look forward to seeing how much improved our bench is next season. As mentioned previously, upgrading a few spots will do wonders.

It's a helluva drug

28th in payroll and youngest team in NBA . . . Seems about right to me.

These.

Stifle and others want that instant gratification, not the way it works unless u draft a Curry or TD or sign a LBJ to your team. We ain't skipping steps. We baking that cake, Its rising, and it smells damned good. I can't wait to frost the hell out of it.

Shouldn't we hope that's the case? I would assume it means Dante and Trey Lylez turned out to be pretty good.

Look at what we already have.

Mack already looks like he will be one of the better backup pg's we've had since Howard Eisley's first stint with Utah. Also, Neto looks to be very good off the bench as he develops, and could be that off the bench sharp shooter we've needed. Burks is one of the best off the bench scorers, Lyles is going to be good, and seems one of Gobert and Favors are always on the court at all times.

Even curry sucked for a few years.

What win record is this writer looking at? The one where we are second seed in 1998 or the one where we are drowning in mediocrity in 2016? I like how there was a good chunk of that article that was dedicated to the brief historical window of the Knicks, a team in a top market and with a storied championship pedigree. You know, because the Jazz have so many parallels with how the Knicks have ever been owned and managed. Total delusions going on with every bit of the writing
