Where is the game thread for Minny?

Feels so good

You going to buy all of us a shot of Stag when you win?

Nothing says we're going to the playoffs quite like "Joe Ingles made running dunk" ...
I was telling my friend that I thought that was his first dunk of the year.

Do you think that is correct?

wait, wut??...you mean there's another Jazz fan who's also a Bengals fan?...I thought I had the market cornered...
This dude is an insane Bengals fan. Its historical, and epic the amount of Bengals stuff he has. I have never seen anything like it.
He likes the jazz but isn't a rabid jazz fan like the majority on jazz fans.

Loves bourbon like me.

I have my own grotto of Bengals gear and am definitely a rabid Jazz fan so I'll still claim sole ownership of that dubious duo crown :-)...

Disclaimer: Idaho State Bengals do not count...except possibly Marvin Lewis and that's highly debatable...

I have actually kind of become a semi Bengals fan because of this guy. (I'm dolphins fan, though not all that invested)
The Bengals were pretty loaded with talent all over the place last year... Too bad dalton got hurt.
Though even with dalton, he might not be good enough.
It's crazy how much the qb position means in football. Dalton is good, but not quite good enough

Probably his first in the NBA !

Funnily enough i remember watching him when he first got into the australian league as a young kid, he was considered an athletic run and gun scorer .... He used to throw down some decent dunks in the warmups !

BR also says he made five dunks last year.

I wonder how many times in his career Rubio has scored 20 or more points. I bet it can't be much more than 10.

just watched the game Good reminder of Lavine's epic court smarts and D

KAT is so good tho ... but minny needs another real good player before i'd worry about them

Hayward sucked all game but manned up and took over in the 4th. Lyles was just a pleasure to watch. Those dunks in the 4th were so damn smooth, and powerful.

Favors was a beast! Gobert made an impact on the boards, and defense.

This offseason we look long and hard for our shooter. Someone to replace Johnson.
But Lyles is making the former haters like myself eat crow hard.

I agree. Wiggins so far is a little over hyped. Zach had a sweet dunk tonight but didn't contribute much else.

KAT alone will get the to the playoffs in 2 or 3 years (mostly because the West won't be as strong) but they won't make much noise unless some of their players really develop.

One last thought, Rubio really helps that team win. It wouldn't surprise me if the Wolves don't keep him around because he doesn't fit their time line.

I know this might not be very popular but I wouldn't mind seeing the Jazz checking on Wilson Chandler. I think his value is at an all time low because of injuries.

He has a respectable outside shot, solid defense and doesn't need to play a big role on the team anymore. Also, his contract will seem cheap over the next few years.

Sort of? No, he is a three point that

when he is open

Spot on. He reliably hits the open 3, so the defense cannot cheat off of him. I doubt he will develop into a volume 3-point shooter or someone who can create his own 3-point shot. Not sure we need that from a third string PG, which I think he will be for the Jazz.

lol @ the refs reviewing the out of bounds when Minnesota asks for it, but not earlier when the Jazz ask for it.

The way I see this is it all depends on the ref's confidence in the call within the context of the call. If they had a perfectly clear view and felt 99.9% sure they got it right, you can ask until you are blue in the face and the refs should not review it. If they make the call and have less confidence, and someone comes up and says "I'm telling you, I definitely saw it hit his leg after I touched it" and this triggers a doubt in the ref's mind ("hmmm... I did not see it hit his leg, but it is possible that I did not have the right angle to see this..... and he'd have no reason to say this unless he believed it to be true") Then they go back and review.

So they may have made an error, but the error is not necessarily that they listened to Minny and did not listen to Utah.

I think the NBA will go to some sort of coach's challenge system with a meaningful penalty if they challenge and it is upheld (1 or 2 timeouts?)
