Do we want both of them to come back right before the playoffs? At this point I'd almost just say roll with the team that got us there. But I wouldn't actually say that, just almost. Exum can provide defense and Alec can get to the hoop. I'd limit their minutes but I'd use them for sure.

I agree with all of this.
Imo Burks should be playing right now. That would mean no more cj.

I would also worry about screwing with what is currently working though.... I wouldn't worry about it to the point that I wouldn't play him though.

Maybe keep his minutes super low. Like cj's minutes only.
Continue to use ingles as the third wing and bring Burks along slowly as the 4th wing.

I assume you are aware that many athletes who could continue to make millions choose to retire.

Few turn down THAT much. Plus the opportunity to get farewell gifts from every team in the league and adulation from fans in every arena.

Besides, the Lakers need to have one of the top-3 picks or the lose it in trade. So perfect scenario for them to encourage Kobe to play. They're worse with him on the court.
