Enes Kanter works out for the Jazz

As a student of the University of Kentucky, let me give you the full scouting report on Kanter, as reported by fellow students:

"If the NCAA didn't hate UK and unfairly disqualify him, the team would have won every game this year by, like, 30 points."

That's about it.

Can players even start working out for teams yet?
Who is GM for Jazz?
Sounds questionable.

Okur's replacement right from Turkey... IF we do take him, now we got Kanter, Jefferson, Favors, Millsap, Okur, and I'd assume Elson and Fes would be gone. Would this mean Millsap is gonna become a combo F, spending more time at SF? If he dropped some weight, I could see it; he's shown a lot of guard skills with the ball this year, and his defense at SF wouldn't be any worse than CJ's... When a good big man is there for the picking, it's a good idea to take him, even if on paper we don't seem to need him...

No.. It means some of those other guys will be gone. (Okur?)

Kanter would be a project. A good gamble, and a worthwhile project, but a few years from really contributing.

We might be allowed to BECAUSE he's been labeled permanently ineligible for College ball. I'm unclear if we can just up and sign him... I'd imagine he'd have to go through the draft first, but I really don't know.
