A plea for more scoring and ball handling via the 12th pick

Yes Exum is coming a ACL but all indications are that his knee and legs are coming back strong ,of course at 21 his chance of full recovery are much higher than older players. This is also a big plus for Exum ,he himself has said he's gained 10 lbs of muscle to add to his 190 lbs of last year. The addition of Exum back should make the NBA's 2nd rank defense(95.9) even stingier. When Exum and Gobert started they held opponents to 89 ppg.

Golden State and San Antonio had a pt differentials of (10.8) and (10.6 ) and what's their records. For the Jazz to gain ground on G.S.and San A.they need better offense ,their already going to be better on defense with Exum back and healthy. Jazz need to better then their (1.8) differential. Luwawu might be the better defensive player over Korkmaz or if not him Murray but Korkmaz and Murray are the better offensive players and Jazz need offense.

Because I think it's a legitimate argument that Hayward/Hood/Favors/Gobert are all held back by the PG position on our team.

Totally agree this past year but when Exum and Gobert started they were 19 and 10 ,that hasn't been equaled.Jazz whole team philosophy changed because of those games.Winning games after so much losing will see if team success trumps individual success.I think it will. But I also think this will be the last good pick Jazz will get for awhile ,because they will win.So get someone who has a chance to really good offensively while you can.

Murray certainly is, but I think Luwawu's offensive potential is being undersold a bit; he's going to be more than just a work horse on the defensive end.

WTF is wrong with what we have!!?

1) We don't really know what we have with Exum. He's still a negative offensively.

2) Mack is a backup, shouldn't need to depend on him.

3) Neto is ok, but he shouldn't get many minutes.

We're average at best right now, if we can upgrade, we should.

We have a winning record with Exum at pg same with Mack

We don't ......the Jazz finished 19 wins 10 losses the games he started. They held opponents to 89ppg.We now know what the Jazz don't have when he doesn't start

Once again ,Jazz almost doubled up on wins to losses .....Is this a big reason why the Jazz held strong on Exum ,the wins and the defense when he played.

29 games man. 29 games. Roughly 1/3 of a year.

Pretty damn small sample size overall.

So 19-10 isn't good enough and not proof enough for a starting rookie? Idiot!!

Oh and Exum, more then likely has improved from his rookie year.

Let's also not forget that that he looked damn good in SL, yes, I know it's SL, but he was aggressive and the best player on the court
