If you haven't (a) previously played for Doc, (b) torched Doc in the playoffs, or (c) played bball in Doc's driveway, then he isn't interested.
 
Funny i suggested the same thing a couple months ago.

I would do it and i think the clippers do it also. Alec is a lot younger and on a good contract and there is a good chance the clippers lose jj next year anyway.

At first I hated it, but now think it's a great deal for both teams and something that has possibilities of getting done.

Yea, I hesitated on that but the Clippers won't get a chance at a lotto pick for a couple more years and Doc might just jump at it.

Not to mention that DL and QS would love an elite shooter who has playoff experience.

It's worth this year's lotto pick IMO.

I view it more that I would trade Burks for Redick and I would trade our #12 for a first in next years draft. We should have the assets to move up in next years draft and grab an incredible player.

No way the Clips do that deal. It sets them back short-term (Redick helps them win next year much more than Burks) and they lose a potential top 10 pick in next year's killer draft.

Y'all are crazy.
 
I wouldn't do it. I think Burks has a higher ceiling than Redick, and I think Redick would not be as good for us as with the Clips because one of the reasons he has played so well for the Clips is he's playing with CP3. I also am not ready to give up on Burks. But if he has another serious injury then I would consider that.

Their pick is top 14 protected. They're not getting a lotto pick out of it.

I think that Redick is a better fit for this team then Alec is.

Also, I'm starting to worry that Burks might be injury prone. Small sample size, I know, just my concern.
