2016 Draft Workouts!

I watched Mich st a ton last year, usually forgot Davis was on the floor. Even his per 40 production is pedestrian. Just didn't do anything. I hope he's gone before the jazz. I'd rather have Skal and that's a scary thought.

Per 40, 3.9 blocks is great. 11.8 rebounds and 16.1 points isn't special but it's solid especially under Izzo with Valentine there.

At 6'11", 237 lbs with good timing, athleticism and shooting touch out to 18 feet, he stands out as a freshman. There are so many quality bigs in this draft, it gets dizzying...

Bender, Poeltl, Sabonis, Maker, Ellenson, Skal, Chriss, Davis---could all go in the top half of the first round. Jazz are definitely going to get a lot of calls for the #12 pick.

Thon does seem like Rudy for relentless intensity.
Both of them together might be outrageous

If you watched Sparty a lot like you claim then you would of known as a freshman he was surrounded with seniors like Denzel, Brynn Forbes, and Costello. He was about the 4th or 5th option all the time. Izzo doesn't play freshman a lot very often so that speaks for itself that he was on the floor. He was the new kid on the team. Id pay less attention to the stats and more attention to the eyes when it comes to Davis. I personally think the kid would of benefited from another year in college but he opted to turn to the NBA now. Has some potential to play the 4 and the 5 in the nba. Rim protectors do not grow on trees.

Most of these have decent stats. Probably scouting for the Salt Lake Stars.

You are right. These are d League players at best. Bet you woke up with some major wood when you saw this. Will you be in the building watching? You watch a lot of D League hoops so let me ask the question. DO you work for the team somehow? PA announcer maybe? Even just being an Usher? YOu got to have some kind of connection to the DLeague since you know so much bout them players. What sthe scoop whats the 411 Homey?

Especially rim protectors who can also score. Most of his highlights are dunks. But he has a pretty nice stroke and with our ability to develop players, I could see him being able to develop a three point shot in due time. My gut keeps telling me he's our pick as I feel we haven't talked about him and clearly need an upgrade over both Booker and Withey. In theory, this would give us that. Very good defensive potential, athleticism and some scoring ability as well.

I would love to see a work out with Thon Maker and Deytona Davis. I'd want to know if Maker survive and not get completely bullied by Davis, and I'd want to know if Davis can match Maker's energy level and quickness.
