I'm not going to read 300-something pages, but what are everyone's thoughts on Bender? I'm intrigued.
(And yes, I'm sure he won't be there at 12, but he will be at 3)
Reach isn't even that great, tbh.Bender
Obvious upside with his tremendous reach.
Coupled with a good shooting tough makes him interesting.
I'm worried about he projects because he appears laterally pretty slow and certainly not explosive.
Couple that with being very weak and a slight frame and it makes him... less interesting.
Just my take. Not necessarily what has been said here.. as if I read this stupid *** thread.

Lateral quickness? Lol. We're taking about Bender. 9'3" is average length for for a 7'1" player.9'3 is an amazing reach for a guy with enough lateral quickness to defend out on perimeter switches.
I'd much rather have the team go all in on DeMar DeRozan in free agency with a max contract, than trade Rodney Hood and the #12 pick (plus then some) for Jamal Murray. That allows the Jazz to add a potential #1 guy, keep Hood, add another developmental player and strengthen the team from the top down.
I'm far from sold on DeRozan as being a great fit, but he's at least an All Star caliber player who can be a #1 guy on offense (for a team that desperately needs one) and is still young enough to show improvement under a strong developmental coach like Quin Snyder. I like a lot of what DeRozan brings to the table. Good size and athleticism. Young, but established and successful. He has the ability to drive and dish, get to the line, put pressure on the defense and knock down shots. I don't like how much he relys on his mid-range game, but he is effective. The guy can score. The Jazz need guys who can score.

He's not a legitimate #1 c'mon now. He and Lowry are both #2's and failed. If Quin is such a great developmental coach why didn't Gobert, Hood, Burks, or Hayward improve this year? It's like the myth that Jeff Hornacek can fix anyone's jump shot.
