Following 2016 potential draftees

My stab at a mock draft (lottery):

1. Philly - Ben Simmons
2. LA - Brandon Ingram
3. Boston - Dragan Bender
4. Phoenix - Marquese Chriss
5. Minnesota - Jamal Murray
6. NO - Kris Dunn
7. Denver - Buddy Hield
8. Sacramento - Jaylen Brown
9. Toronto - Jakob Poeltl
10. Milwaukee - Skal Labissiere
11. Orlando - Malachi Richardson
12. Utah - Dejounte Murray
13. Phoenix - Furkan Korkmaz
14. Chicago - Domantas Sabonis

I'll bet $20 that Korkmaz is higher than Murray on the Jazz's draft board. But that said, if Orlando wants a do-over on Elfrid Payton, I could see Murray going there.

By the way Locke is pimping him, I'm preparing myself for the moment the Jazz pick him. If that happens the conspiracy of "Locke pimping=Jazz picking" would be 100% confirmed.
Perrin also seemed to really like him after the workout.

I think Ford has said multiple times that Utah thinks highly of him.

There's definitely reason to believe Murray is in play at 12.

Which i think is a smokescreen that says the Jazz are comfortable with several guys at 12.

Damn, just heard an interesting note from Locke on an interview with PK. He said something along the lines that Utah wanted to go small more, but since they lacked big wings they couldn't really do it. He thinks Hayward can play the 4, but having Ingles as the 3 makes it too hard since he isnt athletic or big enough to help out on the boards. I wonder if that means they will target a guy like Luwawu/Prince/Brown(moving up for that last one).

He has said similar things a few times. Although I think I have heard it mentioned with bringing in a bigger wing to play the 4. I thought this was one of the trades that almost happened. He also mentions Deng as an example of a bigger wing.

Henry Ellenson is a guy few people are talking about, but he looks like lottery talent and possibly a legit stretch-5 type.

Exum-Burks-Hood-Hayward-Lyles... 5 out, all can handle, all can shoot(Exum - kinda), all can playmake... all 6'6" or taller, can switch everything. That unit might be really fun to watch. It also might not be able to stop anybody, but still worth trying it...

Attempt at a lottery mock draft:

1- 76ers: Ben Simmons
2- Lakers: Brandon Ingram
3- Celtics: Marquese Chriss
4- Suns: Jamal Murray(pick traded)
5- T-Wolves: Kris Dunn
6- Pelicans: Buddy Hield
7- Nuggets: Dragan Bender
8- Kings: Timothe Luwawu
9- Raptors: Domantas Sabonis
10- Bucks: Denzel Valentine
11- Magic: Jaylen Brown
12- Jazz: Jakob Poeltl
13- Suns: Taurean Prince
14- Bulls: Wade Baldwin

It's hard to know what Sacramento is going to do at a 8. They've been one of the most unpredictable teams in the draft lately. I've heard Valentine rumored there. I have them taking Luwawu but who really knows.

Lyles would have to make huge strides defensively and build up a lot of strength for that to work. I agree, that could be really exciting though.

That's a solid mock. I think the Celtics go for the home-run with Chriss too. Hard talent to pass up and Celtics are in a good position to take shots with their draft picks.

EDIT: Wow just saw Chriss is #3 on DraftExpress. He is FLYING up. Also Valentine at #23? Is he that much worse than Hield?
