None of those players would replace Hayward and make our team as good or even close. It'd be a huge loss.I think he meant it won't cost us much in terms of wins and losses next year and down the road if we replace Hayward with murray and bazemore or something and hood and Burks step up in Haywards absence.
I think if we did this trade then we make the playoffs next year and probably lose in the first round.
We max Hayward next year and we probably lose in the first round of the playoffs next year two but maybe we look a bit better losing.
I think that a core of exum, mack, hood, burks, bazemore (or another similar level free agent.... Who I think more likely to come to the jazz after the void Hayward leaves) favors, lyles, gobert, murray/dunn/chriss/hield/whoever, puertle/skal/luwawoo/furkan/baldwin/whoever is about the same as a core of exum, mack, burks, hayward, hood, lyles, favors, Gobert, luwawaou/puertle/skal/baldwin/furkan/blah blah blah.
In other words, we are about the same good... Unless murray or whoever is a homerun pick (No one knows until a few years later) then we end up much better.
