Regarding Murray's box placement, his status as a former UK student-athlete is entirely irrelevant. I'm an equal opportunity Sorting Hat in that sense. The discriminations come from elsewhere. Imagine Jamal Murray trying to score on Gordon Hayward. Next, imagine the Jazz tarding Hayward for teh 3rd pick and drafting Murray.

Gobert, Hayward or Favors for Brandon Ingram, HAHA, Yeah who needs a scorer that can get his shot at anytime and over most people... Some homerism in this thread now.
None of those guy are ever going to be go to scores. Ingram can.. This is insane, wouldn't trade one of them for anyone in this draft. That's why the Jazz stay out playoffs and into lottery. Because how many playoffs series won with Hayward and Favors as the " Go to" Guys?

As for hayward i would love to see what they can get this offseason and do. Ddr i think would be a great compliment to hayward.

With that said if the jazz decided to trade hayward i think he is worth more than just the 3rd pick. There would need to be one of bostons 2017 pick.

The jazz draft murray. With the 12th pick the best big available. Let us assume skal for arguments sake.

In the offseason i would target barnes. I think that he can be a very solid piece and could give the jazz similar production to hayward.

Exum, mack, neto
Murray, burks maybe switch depending on burks health
Barnes, hood, ingles
Favors, lyles, zipser
Gobert, withey, skal or other big at 12

I like barnes and he knows what it is like to win.

That team is worse than what we have right now.
 
As some of you know, college coaches are not permitted to talk about recruits they're after.. not who they're going to see.. no details, etc.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Again, on a team with an average pace, he's pretty much a 21/6/4 guy that plays really good defense. If we could sign a free agent like that, everybody would go nuts. Since he's here, people don't like him.

We had the 5th best point differential in the West without even an average PG, and our best defensive player injured for quite a while. What more was Hayward supposed to do?

The Jazz need more high end talent. Trading away a player with Hayward production and hoping that two or more players can replace that, is not building towards a championship.

People should stop trying to water down the team.

No one is advocating "getting rid of" Hayward.
But losing him to another team is a reality we have to consider.
Get something good or nothing at all.
