George Hill coming to Utah

Just once, just once before I die I'd like to see a trade where the Jazz come out on top. Like, Lakers-style on top where we get a quality player for garbage.

It's like there's only two trades the Jazz ever make. They either trade picks for an underwhelming players or get involved in 3-team deals to help another team while we get picks or garbage.

You mean like the Gobert trade? Oh wait, did that just ruin your narrative? Sorry.

The Jazz obviously preferred Hill to Teague, even though Teague is four years younger and a more potent threat as a ball-handler and scorer.

Source please. I am not disagreeing I just want to see some source material.

I don't like this trade, I'm serious. The 12th draft pick was the consolation prize for not making the playoffs and they throw it away so easily for a player that will be an unrestricted free agent next season.

I remember that few posters wanted the trade for Teague in February, calling it just a "loan" for 1,5 season...now suddenly almost everyone glad to trade for a player with a similar contract situation and lose a first round draft pick.

The chance that the 12th pick is ever better than Hill is now is statistically unlikely. We'll win 50 games next year and Hill's agent already saying Hill really wants to be here. Now you'll say of course his agent is saying that. Well, there's at least a decent chance Hill really does want to play here. He says he loves Snyder Lindsey us good relationship with Hayward.

Occam's razor? If they wanted Teague for 12 they would have done 12 for Teague. They wouldn't have included the Pacers in the deal.

im so sick of this is a weak draft class. First off none of the players have played a minute of nba ball. Plus lots of role player types in this class. Maybe not star power but cant have a team of all stars.. Couple draft gems in round 2 this year but yes it is a weak class.

anyone with a half a bball brain knows teagueis way betterthen Hill. Now maybe the Jazz prefer Hill contract compared to Teague but Teague is by far the superior player and it isn't even close.

Are you telling to me the Jazz are doing all the possible to indulge Hayward's requests? First Jeremy Evans, then Mack and now Hill?

I want to see all your reactions if he decides to opt out at the end of next season.

Hayward is a good player, he is not a star.
