AK47's reaction...

His reaction was sort of bizarre. The initial reaction I couldn't see because Sap was standing in front of him, but in a replay it looked like he was just yacking to the guy next to him. He didn't seem upset or anything, in fact I think I saw a smile, but it seemed like he was just continuing his conversation as if a buzzer beater didn't happen.
 
This thread is hilarious - at LEAST half the posters on this board bitch and moan or downplay a win when The Jazz struggle to beat a crap team. Now you're killing AK for not losing control of his bladder at the end of the game.

Irony can be pretty ironic.

and realize that if that basket was missed the game wasn't over. Would have went straight to overtime. Not quite the same thing as being down 1 and scoring at the buzzer. And it is the Raptors ....

I am amazed when people praise AK for playing average. I think people forget that he is a MAX player. He shouldn't just play "average", he should be dominate. AK's biggest fault is that he doesn't seem to be passionate about basketball. The guy is the last one to practice and the first one to leave. Having no passion after a dramatic ending...typical AK.

Agree. Over the years people here have slowly tried to lower the bar on what we expect out of AK. Now, if he is doing ok and playing somewhat decent, that is great.
I will admit, however, I am no big AK fan.
It comes down to the fact I really thought, back in the day, that he could and would become one of the top 5 players in the league. He has done so little with what he has, kinda sucks.
Bring on the blame Sloan crowd.

I made peace with the contract years ago. It is what it is. There's no changing it. That doesn't mean he's totally worthless on the court. At the end of the day we're playing guys, not contracts.
 
Each team only has so many assets. When you have a max player, you expect maximum output. With AK only averaging 10 points a game, he is in the middle of the league when it comes to SF's. If AK was making the average for SF's, most people would be glad for what he does. But, when he is a max player, it kills the Jazz.
