I like instantaneous gratification as much as cheap calm solitude. You could say my sushi addiction is a waste of money. $70 each plus tax and tip for 30 minutes pleasure. You could say my investment in army tent, enclosed trailer, furnace, cots, army clothes for the experience, MREs, Dutch ovens, grill, kettles, wash basins, solar showers, fishing poles, lures, chainsaw an axes an 4x4 are a waste.

How many people do my fireworks please? What is the price per person compared w ppp to Hawaii? Minuscule.

Plus my dog loves fireworks. That dumb bitch chases are firecrackers an tries to eat them. She is suppose to be Siberian Husky but I think she has a little Lab Stupid in her.

I guess I just don't like how the fireworks that others do cause a pretty significant and negative disruption to my life. I will get over it though. Unless my house gets burned down or something. That would really suck.
 
And btw I agree that there are lots of dumb ways to waste money.

Fireworks have gotten so ridiculous that they have become the equivalent of walking your dog without a leash, or not wearing a seat belt, or walking off of the marked path at Yosemite and taking a stroll amongst the hot pools.

Hey, it may not be smart, and it may be dangerous, but damn you if you even try to tell me that I can't do it because 'MURICA!

My wife almost got hit by a Roman candle on Sunday cause the across the street neighbors were shooting them at each other and one went astray.

My wife was sitting on our front porch at the time (other side of the street)

I had to pick up quite a bit of shrapnel/remnants of fireworks from my front and back yards too.
 
Can we talk about people who take pictures of fireworks? I was at a firework show last night and everyone had their phones out taking pictures.

Every picture of a firework looks basically like a picture of a firework.

Are people sending these pictures to their friends who have never seen a firework? Are they saving the pictures for later to cheer themselves up when they have the firework blues in mid October??

People are weird.
