finally, an honest voice from you. An absolutely defeated voice.
That was sarcasm. You are one of the lowest bball IQ posters on here.

Hayward on a 5-year.... another blemish.
bUT wAiTT!1!1!! FANBOI!!!
You clearly did not know the protection. If you read my entire post you would have seen I addressed your question.
There's no telling who will be worse at the outset. Any number of teams could get old or injured and backslide severely. Once they realize they aren't making the playoffs, epic levels of taking will ensue. Lakers won't keep the pick. The only question is how far outside of the top 3 Philly will get to use that pick. Suns totally blew that trade. For freaking Brandon Knight. There's stupid. . . and then there's this.I know what the ****ing protection is. And I know they'll be slightly better. And I noticed you didn't answer the question about who is slightly worse.
How do you manage to say so much, but also say nothing? Is this what they teach you to do in the food delivery service industry?
We can still acknowledge that things are pointing in the right direction even though there have been mis-steps. Jazz also extended Favors and Burks to contracts that are dirt cheap. Remember the angst around here when Burks got his extension?
I personally felt that they should have gone after guys like Lin and Biyombo last year at higher salaries than what they got, but for longer contracts. Essentially used the offseason to buy low and build a young bench. Thought the same thing about Millsap and Carroll in 2013 and Bazemore in 2014. Those all would have been good bets.
Other than that, the only big miss is letting Philly cut that cap dump deal with Sacramento - even if it was nothing more than pick swaps for 3 years. . . that would have been a good bet to make.
Overall, I'm happy with how they've handled things. They haven't been perfect, but things look pretty good and there's real reason for optimism if they can stay healthy.

Hayward's agent saw it coming... I assume we did too right?
I'm sure you have no problem with me thinking that the Lakers will be in the bottom three. --Because you know I'm projecting into a future with a lot of unknowns; and you probably know that I'm self-aware of doing so.
I think the Lakers will be in the bottom 3.
Sacramento is absolutely going to suck, especially after losing Rondo and probably Gay at some point. The Nets are still going to blow, And Philly isn't climbing out of that basement on the back of their rookie. I'm not sure the Heat are going to be worth a plug nickel either. Also the Hornets look to suck hard. There's five teams that could easily have worse records than the Lakers. Additionally, even if they get the 3 pick, they could get aced out in the lottery as well.
