Best shows on TV?

It's awesome. Cy told me about it so I checked it out. Great show
Can't believe I didn't know about it until a few days ago. It's quickly become my favorite cartoon on TV right now and probably my second favorite comedy (after Broad City).

Broad city is my #1 as well.

VEEP is absolutely hysterical. The writing is phenomenal and there are so many great characters, all tightly wound into just 25 minutes.

The Americans - took me a while to get into it but the latest season was great.

One of my favorite shows as well. The acting is pretty phenomenal, especially Paige.

Watch "The Night Of" last night on HBO. Enjoyed it. It's an 8 part series. The first episode was 1.5hrs and I think that's how the rest of the series will be. This is a show that will end after the 8th episode. I imagine they could do a second season sort of like how True Detectives did it, but I don't think there are any plans for that.

I thought it was okay but found it slightly subpar for HBO.

What's it about?

It's sort of a murder mystery that shows the inner workings of the criminal justice bureaucracy.

There's a college aged Pakistani-American kid who does something completely out of character for him and ends up in a situation where he is charged with murder.

This first episode was pretty slow moving. I'm expecting it to get better.

There are a lot of people with ties to "The Wire" involved in it and James Gandolfini is on the credits as a producer. I guess he was trying to get this show going before he passed away, he was going to play one of the lead roles.
