You claim that every republican is against this and then I'm supposed to come up with a list of names? I think it's your job to support your statements.

It appears to me that any citizen who wants to vote can vote. You may see it as a strawman for me to suggest you're trying to make their vote mandatory, but to me it appears that the democratic establishment cares more about the votes of the supposedly disenfranchised than the disenfranchised do. Otherwise they would vote. I have a feeling that if we did make it a holiday then people like you would be complaining that the poorest people are the most likely to have to work on the newly established holiday.

But I don't blame you for wanting to compel these people to vote because I agree that they are likely to think that liberal programs will be helpful to them. I know you won't agree with me on this, but I think the evidence shows otherwise.
