Trey Lyles Summer League highlights...

Probably something like this...

1 KAT
2 Porzingis
3 Russell
4 Mudiay
5 Lyles
6 Turner
7 Booker
8 Okafor
9 Winslow
10 Hezonja

Why does Okafor fall to #8?

I know people aren't in love with him, but 18 and 7 as a rookie. To me he is the 3rd pick in a redraft.

For me, 8th is about right. 18 and 7 means nothing if the guy plays zero defense. That said, i wouldn't have Russell or Lyles that high. I'd have Booker higher.

I would say:

1. KAT
2. Porzingis
3. Okafor
4. Russell
5. Mudiay
6. Booker
7. Turner
8. Lyles
9. Jokic
10. Johnson
11. Winslow
12. Hezonja
13. Portis
14. Richardson

Really early to be doing a re-draft though, but that is how I would do it atm.

Well, Okafor doesn't have a natural position the way the league is heading. He's really a 5, but he doesn't rim protect and he can't guard the paint that well. He's hard to play at the 4 because he has limited range, limiting spacing, and he can't guard in space. Philly was trying to trade him recently and couldn't get a pick in the 4 - 7 range this year in order to grab Dunn, Murray or Hield.

Lyles is like the prototypical multi-faceted PF.

I still don't think he goes before Lyles in redraft, just too much potential. You say he doesnt have a position, but that is wrong. He is a center and he can be a great one.

Maybe, but Boston preferred Jaylen Brown, and Phoenix preferred Dragan Bender. Who knows if Philly offered NOLA Okafor for #6 (Hield).
