I always think I've got this thing figured out, and then my top target gets picked one or two in front of me and I'm left scrambling to come up with a new strategy. Considering where I was picking, I'm pretty happy to get my top two targets, even if it cost me a premium to get them both.

Yah.. I know, these titles are so elusive. Things are so fluid....

No. I was aiming for Rudy Gobert and Paul George. PG went one pick ahead of me and I paid a ton to trade for him before I was left to pick James Harden. I'm a little surprised to see Whiteside off the board so early. I was commenting on how subjective valuations are in this thing.

Last year I wanted Gobert and almost took him. He went 4 spots in front of my pick. This time, I made sure that I'd get Rudy (even though I had PG rated much higher) because I was certain that George would fall 5 more spots. He went one ahead of me.

I'm just happy to actually have the guys I wanted. Now I need to go 3 for 3.
