2016 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Made a trade with bern.

I trade 61 and 80 for 53 and 109.

I select George Hill.

George Hill
Klay Thompson
Nicolas Batum
Blake Griffin
Dwight Howard
I like that lineup but Dwight Howard is one of those guys......

Wiggins
Hayward
Durant
Lopez

Size and length.
I like the strategy of waiting for a pg. Deepest position in the league.

Canibal is better than any ride that I rode at Universal Studios easily.
Serious. That ride is bad ***. I would not be surprised if it was better than any ride at any six flags or any Disneyland/world or whatever either. So fun.

Between wicked, cannibal, The Spider (almost as fun as cannibal imo. Very underrated ride since it doesn't go high or fast. Great great ride), callossos, those two towers where one shoots you up and one goes way up slow and then the other way fast down (blast off and re-entry iirc), and a few others lagoon has some great stuff.

Spider is fun but I don't think any other ride is on it's level, the worst thing you can do is ride first when you get their because it sets your expectations too high.

I had my best game of the basketball game at Lagoon today too. The one with the actual court and three racks of 4 balls each from three.

I made all three money balls and 4 other shots (I know, 7 of 12 isn't THAT great but those hoops and balls suck really really bad) and got my baby some stuffed animals for when she is older.

Yepper. That was my pre-draft strategy. But then Kawhi and the Brow were off the board and BPA was CP3 & Westbrook by a good margin so I felt my hand was forced.

True. I think we did bumper cars first and then straight to canibal after before the lines got too long. I had to really really work to talk my wife into even going on it. And yes, after canibal everything else pales in comparison.

The Spider isn't scary or exhilarating or anything but it's way fun to me. I was laughing the whole time on it. Constantly spinning along the track with no idea where the hell you are going or what's coming. Chaotic fun.

You are right. Can't pass up on the elite ones. Cp3 to me is way underrated even though he gets plenty of recognition. I think he is one of the best all around players in the league.

When I think of elite centers, Brook Lopez always comes to mind.
Ya I'm not a big fan. He doesn't suck or anything and where he was taken is fine, it's just getting to that point in the draft when it's slim pickings.

Id take him over Dwight.
I wouldn't. But I don't like Dwight much either.
He went from a guy who would maybe be a top 5 type pick in this thing to a guy taken way late in these things. Dude fell off hard.
But lopez has been irrelevant for a while. And ya some of that is his teams doing and on paper he looks good (size as skills wise he is great) but he is never talked about anymore. I forgot he existed.

Yeah because he is on Brooklyn. Its not any fault of his own. Widely regarded as one of the best offensive centers in the game and actually learned how to pass this past year.

Defensively he isnt amazing. He is big and lumbering, but he can block shots and he gives effort. He allowed 47% shooting around the rim. To contrast Gobert is the best at 41%. Guys like DeAndre Jordan and Marc Gasol are 46%. Dwight Howard is at 50%.
