If Clippers get second seed, ditto for CP3. I think the Spurs are going to drop back.
CP3 and his 19 points per game isn't the type of guy to win MVP.

MVPs are almost always from a 55+ win team. LeBron, Kawhi, Durant, Steph (in no particular order)
Davis, Harden, Westbrook -- highly unlikely unless teams greatly exceed expectations.

how many people have averaged a near triple double and not been MVP? How many times have 2 of the top 3 players (with two additional top 20 players on their team) been on the same team and one of them won MVP? This year is a pretty unique situation so I don't think team record is a must to be MVP.
Can someone post a updated draft board. Domt want to wade through all this fun banter to see who's available
Can I get those odds in a bet please? He put up insane numbers when Durant was out. Still, 42% FG, 30% 3pt, and 4.4 TO. You don't win the MVP when your team barely makes the playoffs putting up massive numbers by being the man. I agree that the situation is kind of unique, but chances are, IMO, next to nill.
NoAdd Lillard to that list. The Blazers are really well-coached and through organic growth and the addition of Turner, they could maybe surprise people, get the 2 or 3 seed (highly unlikely I know) with a monster year from him to win it.
