Their title odds are zero already. Zero. If you think the Kings have a better chance at winning a title than the Jazz in the near future you are clinically insane.
Only sane people realize the Kings have a star and the Jazz don't. The Kings have a way better chance than the Jazz. No one on the Jazz can win a title... they can't even make the Allstar team!!

How many big men in the league can do everything Cousins can? Dude can handle, shoot, post-up, finish inside, defend, protect the rim, and rebound on both ends at a high level. Only guys I can think of are Anthony Davis and Karl-Anthony Towns, both of whom anybody in this board would give up their left nut to get.
Boogie is dysfunctional. But so was Karl Malone. And you can't expect Boogie to get worse in that area after leaving that terrible organization in Sacramento. He can only improve attitude-wise by going literally anywhere but Sacramento. If the Kings come calling, offering Boogie for a package of players that includes either Favors or Gobert, you have to listen. A player of his talent doesn't come to Utah very often.

Malone was a pain in Larry's *** off of the court. On the court he was an animal that gave everything he had all of the time.
Boogie is both a pain in the *** off of the court and a Lazy, whinny *** on the court. He plays with an attitude (not the good kind of attitude) He plays like he is continually being picked on (he's not) and he whines as much as he hustles.
I don't think even Boogie's biggest defender's would argue he gives near as much effort as Malone did.
Why should he play hard when he's playing for the, IMO, worst organization in the league? He had a coach that he loved in Mike Malone, who had the Kings playing great basketball. He got injured, Malone got fired, and replaced by ****ing Ty Corbin of all people. After that season ended they hired George Karl, who blatantly hates Boogie and big men in general.
So, playing for a coach that doesn't like him, in a bad system for him, with no help on the team, and with no effort, the guy still put up some of the best numbers in the league.
If that's what playing with no effort and a whiny attitude does for him, I'd love to see him play on a team that gives a **** and isn't as incompetent as Sacramento. Imagine Boogie with a competent coach (Snyder), competent GM (DL), competent point guard (George Hill), great 2nd option (Hayward), excellent defensive big man (Favors or Gobert), and shooters galore (Hood, JJ, Hill, Hayward, Lyles, Ingles, Diaw). Boogie would thrive here, much like Malone did.

Stop. Why should he play hard? Maybe because he is suppose to be a professional athlete and he gets paid a lot of $$$ to play.
Cousins is just a pissy little bitch. Some dude of China fouled him, not even hard, and Cousins has to get in his face like the guy just tried to take his head off.
OK, we ain't clowning him off court.Stop.
What does that make you if he would pound you into the ground in about a second.
Look, he pouts. He whines. It even bugs me. But he is a good dude, really. He's an awesome player.
It pisses me off that he doesn't seem to be able to mature out of the constant whining... but that's where it stops. He's elite in the world.
