2016 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Didn't Hayward destroy Aaron Gordan?

The answer to a jeopardy question: Aaron Gordon Hayward

Aaron is just a kid with tons of potential, similar in some ways to Dante.

Tons of upside, but requires patience. I think he'll be an allstar down the road. But he has a long way to go & I don't think he helps Bern too much this year.

DeMarre Carroll.

One of the best 3&D players in the league. He's called the junkyard dog because he's the guy that does the dirty work on his team, and plays with a high motor at all times.

I need a guy I can rely on, on my bench that is also starter quality. Carroll is a guy I can bring in off the bench and pick up my team with a big steal diving for a lose ball or great individual defensive effort to help gain the advantage after a lackluster start.

Carroll didn't have his best year last year thanks to injury, expect an uptick in production this year.

2016 season stats.

11 pts. 4.7 reb. 1.7 stl. 39% 3pt. And great defense.

He's started the slow decline to mediocrity. His three point shooting may only improve by just a little bit

Haha... Ya idiot!!
Slow decline but he played better post all-star break? He has always been a streaky 3pt shooter, he isn't declining, he just had an off year. He was a bad fit with Wade.

Declining.

Cy has been pure poop in this thread. Any pick he makes is perfection, and any pick anyone else makes is trash.

Injuries. I can show why it wasn't his best year. What's Dragic's excuse. Don't say DWade. Because he'll have the same issues on your current team as far as playing on a team with high usage players.
No, like I said earlier, Miami as a team had no spacing, especially with Bosh's medical injury. I'm going to play Durant at the 4 in a more open offense that plays to his strengths.

I like your team, but pg is an eyesore on your team

And there was another pg I'd have picked over him. And he'd have fit better

The archtype 3 & D, his team ball makes players around him better. Over the last 3 years his RPM is second only to Harden and his DRPM is second only to Tony Allen (among SGs).

One of a few players in NBA history (others: Curry, Korver, Armstrong) to have four consecutive years with 3P% above 41.5%

Ranked overall 50th by SI and 60th by ESPN, a steal at 91 due to a drop in shooting last year, but at only 29 years old, he is still in prime years and ready to bounce back.

Danny Green

I like this pick, not poop.

Those rankings were last year though, not this year. They going to drop his rank until he proves himself as a consistent shooter again.
