What's new

Utah @ memphis 3/21 (6:00 pm mt)

Well at least we can essentially put this silly playoff talk to bed now. They won't recover from this. Not with the April schedule we have.

If Harris is really hurt could get really ugly. Should at least get the 12th pick. At least we should be able to play Evans, Favors, and Hayward a lot.

Anyone have a theory why the Ronnie Price is getting playing time over Hayward? I understand that Ronnie is the future of the franchise and all

Seriously, with the playoffs aspirations in the dump, why is Price playing 17 (and a great 1-5 at that) and Bell playing over 20, while Hayward is playing under 20 and Evans even less?

I'm growing frustrated with Corbin. I was sometimes annoyed with Sloan's substitution patterns, but Corbin is frankly pissing me off.

Also, nice to see that CJ has returned to form, yet again. The guy is a big tease, plays great often enough that you see the potential in him and think he might be something, only to lay yet another row of eggs before his next 'break out' game.

Hate to say it, but Jazz are now one of THE worst teams in the league.

Price was playing I believe because he was the only other "PG" available. Not that he is really a PG but the Jazz have fooled themselves into believing that is what he is.

CJ took, and missed, some tough shots in the first half when nothing else was available. Sure he needs to shoot better but he only got 22 mins and got to the line.

Here's where it all went downhill for the Jazz:

Jazz up 6, get a defensive 3 second violation. AK to the line, bricks the tech, goes to inbound the ball
AK inbounds the ball, turnover, Grizz score on a fast break. Jazz by 4.
AK gets a pass, bobbles it, turnover, Grizz score in a fast break. Jazz by 2.

They end up getting another basket to tie, then Favors hits a jumper to take the last lead of the night for the Jazz around the 5 minute mark or so of the 1st quarter. Sigh.

AK looked awful out there tonight. Favors, Millsap, Evans and maaaybe Hayward were the only ones who put in some effort tonight.

Didn't watch this game by both the box score:
Rookies killed it like usual
Evans: 4-6 FG, 2 BLk
Hayward: 3-4 FG, 2-2 3PT
Favors: 2-3 FG, 1 BLK

the rest - meh. Raja Bell 29 minutes, Ronnie Price 20 minutes..i would only watch this game to see the rookies, which looks promising

Well, at least Ty did not play our 7 footers against their 7 footer. Now that would have really been a mistake. If the NBA is all about matchups as so many say, why are there so few changes in starting lineups?

AK didn't look very motivated. That pass he bobbled was an absolutely horrible pass that one of the Grizz players got their hands on before AK even got the ball.

Same reason for me. Off season assignments:

Evans: 10 pounds of muscle
Hayward: Learn the curl!
Favors: 10 pounds of muscle, post moves with Malone

Malone didn't use many post moves as far as I know he was just ten times stronger then everyone else. What the Jazz should do is hire Malone to be Favors workout buddy

Underhanded scoop. Sealing off opponent. Running hook in the lane. That's off the top of my head.
