So like, what the hell is going on with Gobert's offensive game? Is it for real? Discuss.

Mods please Sticky............. (I'm kidding )

Spacing by never playing with Favors and having more shooters on the floor at all times. Also the passing of Diaw.

Completely agree with your point on Diaw's passing.

In re Faves not being on the floor and the floor being more spaced, I get it, but some of the stuff Gobert is doing out there, I've never seen him do. He seems improved. Just hope it's not a product of the preseason. If it continues into the season, gonna help us a ton.

I'm sorry to say it but I would think 80% of it is pre season. But I hope I'm wrong.

More spacing, more scorers who can keep defenders on them, more confidence, more guys who can run pick-and-roll with him.

People are getting Rudy the ball in a position to score, Diaw and Exum especially. I never really felt like Burke, Neto or even Hayward knew where to put the ball to get the most out of Rudy. Throw that mother up there and good things are going to happen. Friggin' longest standing reach ever recorded in the NBA at 9'9", stop throwing the ball to his belt buckle or knees. The free throw shooting is pretty awesome too.

All points made thus far are valid but I feel that I must add that Rudy has clearly worked on his offensive game. I've been waiting for that hook shot(unstoppable if he perfects it)since we drafted him. That push shot is nice too. A couple of years ago he'd be lucky to hit the backboard. He would bring the ball down low and forfeit his natural advantage. He still needs to work on how he comes off of screens and his dive to the basket in the high pick and roll. Luckily it seems like QS is going to keep putting him in that situation until it's second nature.

Lyles is really getting me excited. I never thought he had this much potential. He could become an All Star.

Just improving his FT percentage is a huge, huge boost. Also means he can be left on the court at crunch time.

I think a lot of it is just Rudy getting used to his body in the NBA. He is understanding that, yes, he can just go over people.

It might be that, but it also just seems like he has less people crowding him so he only has to worry about finishing over his man and not help defenders pressuring him.

Im really impressed by what Gobert has done in preseason, but Ill be more impressed if his improvements translate to playing with Favors.

*And Diaw's amazing passing which seem to be a decent chunk of his scoring opportunities*

He's thankful that Dante is back. Diaw and Exum are going to make Gobert a lot of money.

Hes put in the work at the FT line, finishing with authority, and is that some sort of floater i see...
