What's new

NBA.com's Shaun Powell has us finishing behind POR, OKC, and MIN

I hope Snyder is compiling all these articles and tweets by the "experts" and fans that down play or deadpan the jazz. Every day he needs to print out a new one and paste it to the locker room door.

Stoke that fire and make this team ruthless.

LOL - it looks like the author threw this together, along with the team previews, in about half an hour.

Nothing but a cut and paste job - zero insight.

I'm supposed to take this seriously?

TBH, this year has been nearly entirely optimistic from the national media. Snyder's door would be pretty barren.

I have never understood why people care about what the media says about NBA teams. I get why it matters in college since it can impact rankings. In the NBA, you get to play until you prove you are not good enough. Personally, I love it when people underestimate the Jazz. Better than the other way around. I do think OKC will be a lot better than most on this board are giving them credit for. And Portland will continue to overachieve.

So one Nostradamus predicts we will be awesome, and another one predicts we won't, and others predict we will be pretty good. Is the very fabric of reality being torn asunder, since there are so-called "experts" with differing opinions? This is global warming all over again!! I thought it was cut and dried, we had the championship in the bag. Now their nefarious duplicity is going to break this season apart. We were happily on our way to the ring before this happened. I am shocked, SHOCKED, that there are people out there who think we may not finish in the top 4 in the league. Once the prognosticators have spoken that is supposed to be the end of it (as long as we like what they say of course). Oh what is the world coming to? This is obviously a sign of the apocalypse.

You're consistently a sarcastic douche

It's ironic - you bitching about a whiny victim complex.

Locke needs to get Harden's Houston Rocket out of his mouth. Srsly, We hate Houston Locke! You shouldn't be the radio voice of the Jazz if you don't understand that.

Sir,

Is there any article that you've read from an "NBA writer" that falls in line with what you think about our Jazz and this upcoming season? If so, please link to it, I'd def be into reading it. Thanks!

Yes plenty think we will finish somewhere in the mid-40s for wins as do I. Not every "NBA" wtiter has us pegged as a mid-50s squad. Do you?

I am simply hyperbolically poking fun at the unwavering, yet all to often bandwagoning, belief in what the prognosticators have to say. Say we're in the top 4? Yay of course we will be, championship here we come. Oh so we're of to a rough start maybe with early injuries to key players? I knew they were crazy in the first place of course. It all just cracks me up. Whichever way the wind blows apparently.

championship here we come.

please tell me which JFCers think we are winning the championship this year. Or, anytime in the next 2 or 3 seasons. You keep saying this word, but I'm pretty sure you are the only one saying it.

BTW, this is my 4th or 5th attempt to get you to clarify your comments. The previous attempts asked about why your consider George Hill to be part of the "old vets" that won't be much help.

Thanks for the clarifications.
