What's new

De'Aaron Fox

Kentucky had its Pro-Day. Nationally televised practice that had all 30 NBA teams in the gym (90 execs and scouts).

Utah Jazz representative said he was most impressed with De'Aaron Fox (PG).

Just thought I'd get that out there for discussion regarding the draft (later).

Our Jazz rep is a smart guy.

GGTG.

Watching a scrimmage... damn.. Fox is Wall fast and a better decision maker (in this game).
Scores at will, hits the open man.. but it's the length/speed.

If the Jazz end up with a top 5 record then ill never ever post here again. I wont even read this board again if that happens BUT it is not going happen so im confident in saying this,

Is that a promise? You realize by saying this you are dissing everyone on this board and that you are creating more ill-will than you already have created? I don't go out of my way to give people grief but when I hear something like this, I just may come looking for you. You heard about the time I harassed Kanter, didn't you? Why do you think he wanted to get traded.

You honestly really believe that this is where the Jazz are going be picking aren't ya?

Dear Dunning Kruger,

Are you are unaware that the Jazz have the Warriors pick or do you think the Warriors are not a top 3 team?

Step right up and play "the idiot picks his poison game"

At this point, I can't figure why the 76ers would pass on Fox(as long as he shoots it well from 3).. Their fastbreak would play faster than every other team.. and Fox would increase the rate of fastbreaks plenty with his defense..

Are you saying you would take Fox over Fultz?

Depends on the team and how they shoot from 3, presuming he shoots it well from 3, for the 76ers, I'd say yeah.

To me, De'Aaron Fox is an extremely rare prospect, Collin Sexton is the fastest/quickest 'PG' in the next class but his defense and PG skills aren't even remotely comparable.. Certainly in the class after that there's no PG's like Fox, Immanuel Quickley might be the closest thing, but his defense and quickness won't stack up.. I can almost guarantee you there's no PG's in the class of 2019 like Fox either, 99.97% sure...

I just think Simmons and Fultz might be a bit redundant, Simmons is kinda like a giant version of Fultz........ I guess with those 2 you'd run UCLA cuts??? that's not really my thing.. Building a team to run at warp speed and dump the ball into the bigs inhalfcourt sounds like a MUCH better plan for them moving forward, they'll still have plenty of time/picks/assets to tweak the halfcourt offense..

I think Dennis Smith Jr might be a better fit there than Fultz.

I was the Jazzfanz whistleblower on Fultz, Fox and Dennis Smith.. very interested to see how they play this year.. pointed them all out well before they settled into those spots in the final rankings.. Big fan of Fultz, not trying to say anything negative bout him.. I was saying I preferred him over some of UK's top targets(Like Rawle Alkins and even Monk)... like Brandon Ingram the year prior..
