Dear Boris Diaw,

I am writing you today because I am emotionally unstable, prone to overreaction, and for the most part a pathetic human being. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but thanks to you my precious Jazz are now tied for last place in the conference with the lowly Golden State Warriors. Meanwhile the Kings and the Lakers are tied for first place and appear to be running away from everybody else. I want you to know that from the deepest, most sincerest, bloodiest part of my heart I hope you choke on a dick and die.

God Bless, JFC

PS If you play well next game I will pretend like I never wrote you this letter.

Diaw will be fine. He's just not suited for a starting roll. He's a great team player.

Hopefully Favs is back tomorrow.

One game does not a trend make. Everyone has a bad game now and then. From what I saw in preseason, Diaw excels at passing. But passing requires knowing your teammates; how many games has Diaw played with Hood?

Definitely.

The Diaw I saw the other night was the Diaw that was in Charlotte. But I saw enough of him in the pre-season to believe he'll be utilized correctly and turn this around ASAP.

We need Favs back though.

I still believe in Boris... I think Portland's combo forwards were a bad matchup first game. Long term I'm concerned with the bench duo of Lyles Diaw, but who knows... maybe it works. Also, Favors may never complete his uneven bars routine which I hear is the final hurdle to him coming back.

The letter summarizes the overreaction perfectly though. Great work.

How do you see him matching up vs Julius Randle and Larry Nance against the Lakers? Randle looked strong vs Nene last night.

Lemme put it this way; If you're playing against the Jazz why wouldn't you go after Diaw?

Isn't he obviously the weakest link in the chain??
