Rudy to sign deal with Jazz

Is there a way to report posts on the mobile app?

How much of a discount is this really? What would the figures be like for the actual max?

The max extension was 106, so Gobert took a 4 million discount and Giannis took a 6 million discount.
Next year though the cap increases, so overall the Jazz saved around 12-14 million, assuming the CBA doesn't up the max salaries...then the deal will really look smart.

Really smart? I like Rudy a lot but he's limited and this is pretty darn close to the max.

Can we extend Favors too?

For the first time, I'm actually concerned about where we are headed. That said, it is only four years, so we may not have to worry about paying the tax for a few more years, and by then, if we are close to a ring, I'd expect the Millers ante up. If not, I'd expect we try to trade one of these guys to a contender and we get something of value.

So Favors is not going to extend for around 80 then?

Still possible. Don't look at that number. Keep in mind that Favors starts at about 23 in the first two years to reach the 80 after 4. Meaning if he doesn't extend, he will get 23M over the next 2 seasons and then the max he would be able to get is about 60M over those 2 remaining years... So he's not really sacrificing much.

Too bad they drafted Trey Burke over Dennis Schroder.. These extensions would be even more glorious. His contract is a great bargain for ATL moving forward.

Then the Jazz make the playoffs last season and use the 1st rd pick on Wade Baldwin (whos physical profile is very similar to Hill's and he looks like a competent defender already)

sign Harrison Barnes and keep Chris Johnson instead of Joe Johnson + trading for Diaw..
Team would be better and much younger.
