Joe Johnson is still strong but Kawhi will easily go by him .He's very physical and a load going to the hole .He looks like the only guy in the NBA that can go mano y mano on Lebron.
I'm not expecting Jazz to win,I'm just hoping they bring some dog to the fight. That means a physical angry Gobert and Favors ready to make a signature statement to the rest of the NBA they can be a force.That's where I want to see some big dog action.
 
I said it before the season. Its the one glaring weakness this Jazz team has.
Toughness. A mean streak. Mr. Nasty.

When we play the elite teams in the season and in the playoffs we need an enforcer.
We don't have enough grit right now to bang.

This is where I would start working with Bolomboy. He has the body, and the game to
be nasty. We need to develop him with that mentality in mind.

The team that won the championship last year didn't have a professional nutkicker in their roster. They played with more passion though.
 
Jazz is a physical, bruising team. Their just not imposing offensively (other than Favors/Johnson) as currently constituted... Much like my Minnesota Vikings in the NFL :(

I have always felt that other teams don't respect us. I think it's because of where we're from, not who we are. IMO Hayward is the toughest guy on our team. He has gotten so much disrespect from opposing players over his career, and he doesn't back down. The last couple years I've sensed more respect for him though. We probably need an enforcer and that is another reason to give Bolomboy some playing time to see if he has that nasty streak.

Unfortunately our best wing defender, Hayward, is out. Kawhi is going to beast all over us tonight.

Considering his last few game's plus minus numbers, having Diaw sit is a good thing. That said, I wonder if he wasn't right physically and that was related to his recent (post pre-season) poor play...
