Down on the Farm

Last night the Idaho Stampede er Salt Lake Stars had a 4 point first quarter leading to another loss. I don't think there is call up talent with the farm team. They are 0 for season.

We don't have room for D-League talent right now. The bench splinters up their wazoooos from being on the Jazz could actually turn them. Better keep the 'talent' on the farm.

I realize the No vacancy sign is out but it seems like the Jazz have provided the Stars with the same crappy talent that they gave the Idaho Stampede the past two years.

Why does it matter? Jazz dont have rights to players on the team and can pick up players from other D-League teams unless they are signed already. They need to fix the D-league or the very least bump up the pay so less players go overseas and more good players stay here.

Players like Brock Motum or Tyler Haws are examples of this that they could stay in Salt Lake insstead of an Euro outpost.

Jazz roster is deep so it makes sense player agents wouldn't see much, if any, opportunity to be called up by the Jazz. But the Stars suck so badly one would think a player with some talent would sign with them to be the go-to-guy to get inflated stats.

It's pretty bad. Last game Paige had 9 turn-overs and 0 assists.
