I guess this is kind of contingent on the re-emergence of Burks, but Tucker might be one of the only 2/3/4 vets on a cheap contract out there, and while he's still gotten starters minutes lately it's been definitely dropped since the emergence of TJ Warren.

He still rebounds well, and I was thinking he might make for an okay 12-13th man if Boris really isn't doing us what we want him to do.

I suppose I wouldn't say we should pull the trigger on the trade right now (and we don't have roster room for him as is without sending Bolomdaddy down) because the jury should still be out on Boris-- but is this something that we should consider as we move towards the trade deadline?

Waddyall think.

Can he shoot ???

Nah they're not gonna make a move now. They can't concede they screwed up this offseason(again) so early.

Wouldn't exactly be a vote of confidence for Hayward either..

#TuckerObsession

People said this about me and Avery Bradley when I made several trade threads saying we should try and send them a package around Kanter for him.

Most thought it was unfair for *us*. Yeesh.

If PJ Tucker is some sort of healer with a gift from god I agree.

I like Tucker the bball player but not sure he's the solution right now.

Also to all the panic people... any team without two of its starters and one rotation player will struggle. We are lucky to be .500

Tucker obviously wont solve all of our problems but if he can be had and if he would improve our team in any sort of sense, then why not go after him?

You also thought Trey Burke was going to be great.

I'm not sure how a 31-year-old SF shooting 31% from the field and 9% from deep who gets 1 assist a game would solve any of our problems, no matter how good his defence, nor can I see how adding a 4th SF to our roster when we lack depth at C/PF improves our team in any way.

Also, the Suns are the 4th youngest team and it's been widely reported that P.J. Tucker is their leader in the lockerroom. It's rather unlikely they jettison him.
