Re-sign Hill. I'd much rather go down fighting than be a helpless mess year after year. Yes, the odds are low that we can ever pull off a Pistons beat Lakers type of thing in the finals, but I'd like to give it a shot.

Aren't u the dude that suggested we max Barns? While Barnes is playing well, So is Hill. Hill is doing just as good. Does this mean u were wrong about Barns?

25yo Jeff Teague on a 45-50MM contract for the last 3 seasons, One of which he was an All-star and Trey Burke played 30mpg for Utah, plus this season is a whole different story than

20+MM a year, 4 years for a 31 year old, with pending negotiations with Hayward, and then Exum/Favors/Hood the next summer.. don't forget surrendering the 12th pick in the draft too.

And Teague would've done what for us? The Jazz wouldn't have been in contention with him but since we would have been a bit better, our draft picks would have been lower and some of that young talent we have currently wouldn't be here, not to mention we'd again be looking for a point guard since Teague clearly wouldn't have been the answer (Hill is clearly better overall), so yeah, you're a clown.

Jeff Teague sucks. Aminu is okay in a team with very very very good guard play (Rockets, Blazers, etc.) I would rather have Harkless (and PG_AB was the first on this forum to advocate us trading the Magic for him-- it was a good idea then, and it looks even better in hindsight).

George Hill is doing tons of stuff for this team because we currently have zero offence coming from our post players, and we've had to re-focus a lot of it to come from the perimeter.

Once Favors is back and 100%, will his offence reduce our need to rely on Hill? Remains to be seen.

Jeff Teague is easily one of the greatest 19th picks of all-time. I'd argue he's outperformed expectations at every stop in his amateur/pro basketball career.... There's no denying that the Hawks got incredible value from him..

You know, this forum is full of people who want to pretend everything is positive with the Jazz, but this was actually the most sensible post in the thread.

We have a real concern in that our team as currently set up is nothing better than mediocre playoff team. If we sign Hill and Hayward leaves, our team is garbage. If we sign Hayward and Hill leaves, our team is garbage. If we sign both, our team is a mediocre playoff team.

Our last shot is Exum ****ing pulling his head out of his *** and reaching his potential this year, but with Quin constantly yanking him and playing Mack for short term gains, this is also likely to NOT going to happen.
