OK i hope I am not cursing the Jazz further and I have sacrificed soem virgins to the basketball gods but....

What IF Favors just can get back to full health this season and his injuries are nagging around the trade deadline. What would you give up to bring Ibaka in for the yest of the year?

- Orlando is looking at losing him for nothing.
- Honestly in my opinion he doesn't look like he wants to be there
- He is more of a stretch 4 then Favors
- You dont want to over pay just to have him leave next summer
- He has playoff exp

I was thinking a package of 2nd rounders. IF Favors looks like he won't play I would be willing to give up 1 first maybe GSW pick

Nothing.

Orlando just gave up a pretty penny to trade for him. They aren't dumping him for scraps after 1 month.

Ibaka is a MLB style trade piece if anything for the Magic. For MLB purposes, this kind of deal requires an almost ready major league prospect, a high potential prospect, and some lower possible assets.

So to translate that, it would likely take Lyles, Exum, and the GSW first rounder.

To get Ibaka? The dude is a meh player. This isnt 2013. That being said I have no idea what the Magic FO thinks of anything because they are clearly inept if they gave Jeff Green any money.

You don't think 10 playoff competing teams won't inquire on Ibaka's availability? Will drive price right up. Though I understand that in the NBA, there is the added value element of salary that doesn't exist in MLB.

Basically, the Jazz likely aren't trading for Ibaka.

He'd be interesting on the Raptors.

Going after Ibaka makes a lot of sense if Derrick is hurt.

Or Gordon. Whoever Orlando wants to kick to the curb
