How many games has Joe Johnson won us this year?

Probably about 3 including tonight. The Jazz started the 4th quarter leading by 23 and the Suns went crazy to tie the game with just a few minutes left. It was Joe that stole the ball that lead to an easy dunk by Gordo and the Jazz never looked back. Dudes payin off big time.

Defensive play of the game right there.

Joe will save our teams *** many more times this season.

What I saw in the Portland game was truly enough

All 3 of our off season picks up have started to be good for us. Hill has been fire from the beginning, JJ as we need it (like tonight and that 29 point game) and Diaw is starting to get comfortable. He is going to be great for Gobert IMO. Anyone else see him get after Gobert for not cutting because Diaw wanted to get him the ball at the rim?

Ya, diaw is winning me over. So unselfish and seems like he is happier if his young teammates are getting stats and playing well than if he himself is. Very likeable guy who im sure our young guys love playing with.

Yep - it's amazing how good Diaw is when he's in an offense where people actually do stuff with a purpose. When people stand around or make endless passes to nowhere he's borderline useless.

Big basketball brain. He's doing a lot to help the team just by being around him, talking with him, watching him play selflessly. Hill will have the bigger obvious impact, but Diaw will pay dividends down the road. Lindsay should get exec of year for these pick-ups because they addressed both short-term and long-term developmental needs.

Diaw has always been like that : he is the type of player who will get depressed if you ask him to shoot the ball 15 times a game, but will excel if he is asked to mix it up and play point forward. That's why he was miserable in Charlotte although he had the green light to be as selfish as he could, but super happy at the Suns and Spurs when they were competitive and asked him to make the team even better.

Johnson will be even more valuable as the season wears on and especially during the playoffs.

He's had a chance to get used to the system (the first few games I saw him play were painful to watch and the spacing was awful) and now he's playing better. He's had more than a few bad shooting games but his overall numbers are solid.

He and Ingles need to be shooting more threes.

Ya i have noticed that even JJ, mister one on one iso joe, has been making a big time effort to pass the ball more.

Quin gets, and deserves a decent amount of criticism, but one thing he definitely does right is get his players to buy into his system and listen to him. I think his players like him too.

Sloan would have LOVED Diaw had Diaw played for him. Those backdoor cut passes Diaw makes would cause tears in Sloan's eyes. It's going to be interesting to see how Burks plays while on the court with Diaw. I feel like Diaw will benefit Burks more than Hood as Burks has a game better-suited toward scoring easy points.

Boris + Burks off the bench? That **** will be poetry

I'm dying to see Burks back in action, I can imagine him being a true 6th man contender if the team can get some solid ball movement with him on the court. The best part about a Diaw/Burks combo is that Diaw will LOVE setting up Burks on those passes/cuts

I am drooling over this. Burks will add an absolutely unique element to the Jazz. Ruthless slasher. People will have the Jazz figured out as a slow methodical team that passes the ball for open shots. They game plan for it.

Then BAM!!! Slash, slash, slash, slash, SLASH!!!! I want them to just unleash Diaw and Burks and see what happens. If Burks ever gets that kick out to an elite level... Hill, Hood, Ingles, JJ, Hayward and Lyles are salivating.

Burks will look like a legit all star at times with this offense. They're getting pretty damn good at back door setups, plus he can shoot wide open three's pretty well. It seams tailor made for Burks' game.

There won't be enough minutes or points to go around if this team can ever get healthy.
