I've seen a few reactions from last nights game comparing him to Hayward. IMO Jayson Tatum seems like the closest thing. Dzanan Musa in the next draft..


I think its feasible that if Kennard keeps playing like this that he could wait til the 2018 draft and increase his draft stock into the top20.
 
Fell asleep watching Cal-Princeton last night. Was just an off-game but that was the worst I've ever seen Ivan Rabb play.. Scoreless in the 1st half finished with 6 points in 33 minutes.
 
Rawle Alkins is going into the 1st rd of my next mock. I think the Jazz would like him. He's sorta like Shelvin Mack but bigger/more badass/athletic.

I'm tempted to make an official "pls draft Tacko Fall" thread. This time last year he wasn't even in DX's freshman rankings, now they've got him in the 40's of the 2018 draft.

I think he's ready this year tho. He's quite simply one of the best athletes of anyone 7'5"+ on this planet... Thats the truth. He's got a 10' standing reach and presents issues on the boards and in rim protection and he can catch.

to me many of the giants you see on the court are giants that get converted into basketball players(Yinka Dare). I've always thought Fall was already a ball player, and thats how he's progressed because he's only been getting better.

Looks like a high-upside 2nd rd project to me... 20 and 13 on 10/10 fg's vs the #1 team in the nation Villanova. He's shooting 81% from the field.

How is Lagerald Vick's defense? He looks to be very efficient on offense.

He's got all the tools. Long arms, quick hands, lateral quicks, recovery speed anticipation and a healthy appetite for playing d. Good frame to strengthen too, for now he's wiry strong.
 
It's being said that Harry Giles will debut for Duke in 12 days against Tennessee St. and will also play the next game vs Elon. That will give him 2 games under his belt before the 9 day winter break. Here he is warming up yesterday.

Awesome. I know he doesn't start but he's so efficient and his percentages are great. If he can play defense too he's very intriguing. DL has the power as the roster is almost full. He's nailed it with Hill and Johnson and Diaw are looking better and better as well. So many scenarios....

Vick's ahead of schedule. The plan was to unleash him next year but he's too good and has forced Self's hand, who's usually stubborn.

Josh Jackson who most have going 1st or 2nd in this draft says he's hard to guard which is a powerful endorsement. Jackson is as good a defensive player for a freshman as you'll see aside from Anthony Davis.. IMO Vick passes the eye test easily(always has), and I'd almost say he's got J.R. Smith level talent(which is a lot of talent) and a much better attitude.
 
Fox has gone coast to coast off defensive rebounds in an eerily similar fashion to Russell Westbrook twice so far in this 1st half.
