And I disagree. I have coached basketball for 20+ years and having a desire to be a good defender is first.
Then second is knowing the techniques about keeping your butt down, arms ready, positioning and anticipation. Also knowing your players tendencies.
I will agree that measurables will make some one elite but Ingles doesn't have great measurables neither does hayward.
Look at JJ redick he has made himself into a serviceabke defender.

6' 10" wingspan on a wing isn't a good measurement?
and just straight-up LOL at the shade you throw on Hayward's measurable athleticism.
