I think the chances are great that this fight never happens. I'm inclined to think they're both punking the public just to keep themselves relevant.

An oddsmaker came out today with a 10-1 line with McGregor as underdog - doesn't sound right to me. I'd have to think McGregor can come at Floyd ten ways that he's never had to deal with before. I guess they're assuming Floyd will come out with a bunch of rules to restrict McGregor from using certain holds/maneuvers.

Like I said, it depends on what the rules are. If it's a straight boxing match then yeah of course Floyd would win. But what if you can kick, or choke, etc.

Hell, if you can lay on the ground that negates 80% of Floyd's game - you can't knock a guy down if he's already on the canvas.

They should make it stand up only to make it more fair. So kicks, elbows, clinching would be allowed. Anything else would be lame.
Mma McGregor dominates, boxing Floyd dominates.

It's 100% going to be a normal boxing match if they fight, that has been crystal clear. Dana White offered 25 million dollar for both sides. Floyd says he won't fight for anything less than a 100 million.

The fight isn't going to happen, and if it did, Mayweather would win easily.

Basically, if they can't guarantee Floyd more money than he got out of the Pacquiao fight, I doubt he does it.

I agree that Floyd would definitely win but then I wonder. Conor is so damn tough. Could he just straight go on the offensive like Floyd's never seen, and take the punishment (and it's not as if Floyd has some devastating punch), and really get in there and do some damage to Floyd, maybe for a few rounds, to the point that Floyd really gets ****ed up, and Conor eventually wins by Floyd getting laid out?

I don't think McGregor's "toughness" is that much of an x-factor. I think it's his super-accurate left hand and power. There's always a CHANCE that he catches Floyd with it and alters the direction of the fight.

The facts of the matter are there are much lesser boxers than Floyd who would murdalize McGreggor in the ring. Canelo would make short work of him.

Sort of, Floyd will leave McGreggor punching at air, over and over and over the compubox #'s will be obscene... and whatever 'lands' will be mostly deflected..... McGreggors gonna get demoralized and try something crazy and Floyd is gonna catch him and knock him out, his other option is to run away and get peppered with shots which wont work either... Thats how it'd go down... In less than 8 rds..

McGreggor's stance is not gonna work at-all, he's like a bare-knuckle boxer.. Floyd will ****ing pick him apart.


I fully believe there's an absolute 0% chance McGreggor KO's him.You cant even convince me there's a 0.0000001%chance..

I don't even think McGreggor can catch him with 1 truly clean punch per rd...


Floyd's protege Gervonta Davis would obliterate McGreggor -- Davis is WAY more devastating puncher than McGreggor...
